I died 6 months ago
That night in the hospital bed
With a tube shoved down my throat,
In sheets stained blood red.
Complete silence
As doctors run all around
I see their lips moving
But not making a sound.
I feel cold and limp,
Immovable and helpless
They attempt to revive me
But it was not a success.
Suddenly,
I find my self standing
Next to my unconscious body
Laying on the hospital bed
I look so empty.
I see them all, but no one sees me
I am now just my unbound entity.
I turn to my left and see the doctor
Giving my parents a look of grief
My parents stare at my lifeless body
With looks of disbelief
My mother cries endlessly
Everyday that passed by
And on the day of my funeral
I watch from nearby.
Seeing everyone who ever cared
Gathering under the cloudy sky
A single tear falls, the rain pours down.
I never got to say goodbye.
